The Blue Drop is the platform where the drop is ink and color. Here art and culture are intertwined with writing and psychology. Here the contaminations and the plots are the basis of the analysis. I’m the writer, I’m an art historian, I’m partly a psychologist. I’m Francesca, but you can call me Rebis.
The Blue Drop is both ink and paint.
It represents the communication key between these two worlds.
The Blue Drop promotes the interaction between writing and studying, curiosity and analysis towards the most varied art forms, in particular the visual one. This is possible not only thanks to knowledge, enthusiasm and curiosity, but above all thanks to the strength of an essential element for me:
The strength of syncretism, of confrontation, of the encounter between opposites. The strenght to create hybrides.
In my opinion, thanks to this encounter, things apparently irreconcilable or unnoticed, even in the field of art, support and give each other strength. They can reveal the aspects and details that they want had not been noticed previously and offer different readings. It is through analysis that it reveals are meanings but these once revealed pass under the lens of the human eye and in their minds.
With an eye to psychology, The Blue Drop tries to create a dialogue between many aspects of modern and contemporary art, with a light, fresh, ironic but always sensible approach.
I try to do a critique of art not talking about works or artists but about them in a continuous and constant relationship to other forms of creativity and always through the wonderful vehicle that is writing and also narration.
I graduated in Art History in Urbino, to be an art historian, but a masochistic passion for study made me graduate a second time in 2019 in Psychology, with a thesis about emotional functions in relation to some elements of contemporary art.
Among various works, I spent some years writing for an Italian art magazine, but in the meantime I was nurturing the dream of uniting my main interests.
I call myself The Writer in my stories
Because I write and love to do it
